as Gameplay Engineer

  • Led a team of engineers, designers, animators and technical artists, designed and implemented a full body VR avatar animation system, featuring ground alignment and animation transitions.

  • Maintained and improved all player locomotion methods (sliding, teleporting, etc.), prototyped new locomotion mechanics for both hand-tracking and controller-based control schemes.

  • Maintained and improved player-centered systems such as camera, physics, comfort assistance, etc.

  • Identified various CPU and GPU bottlenecks, improved runtime performance.

Oculus VR OS

as UI Engineer

  • Implemented UI layouts, details and animations on multiple system surfaces such as task bar, app store, app library, settings, etc.

  • Worked on spatial layout and movement for UI panels in 3D space, worked on scene lighting.

  • Built automation wireframes and pipelines, enabling automated UI tests carried by lab devices.
